guys GUYS GUYYYYS THE HIATUS IS OVER ISSUE FIVE IS HEEERE. Extended edition because we missed you all sooo mu uh uh uhhhchh (seriously though, it’s over an hour and twenty minutes long and the actual recording went waaaay longer than that) and it’s so exciting to be back! As I mention at the top: spoilers for new releases as well as older stuff like the kid loki saga and some plot points from the red hood movie/comics. As much as I hate him for NEVER DROPPING HIS FUCKING HORSE, I think Baron Rivendare may be one of the most prepared dungeon bosses. He doesn’t just take it for granted that his minions will kill you before you ever reach him - he locks himself behind a giant-ass gate you have to deactivate (after fighting three other bosses, NATURALLY). Get through the gate? Buncha abominations. Get through the abominations? ANOTHER ABOMINATION! Get through him? SHITTON OF ZOMBIES! Still alive? His personal blackguard! Defeat them? Now, yes, you may face the Baron - IN A ROOM THAT CONSTANTLY DAMAGES YOU AND IS FULL OF BONE PILES HE USES TO SPAWN ADDS.
He makes you work for it, is the point.
