Fenris also doesn’t give you approval for, idk, being a dick to Anders, iirc, whereas Anders APPROVES of you sending Fenris back with Danarius. Seriously, dude, do you only care about slavery when it’s mages?

I KNOW. And he’s literally the ONLY PERSON that approves. Fenris is just as much of a dick to Merrill, and even she’s like “woah what the actual fuck Hawke”. And considering Fenris hangs around them for like six fucking years and apparently never drops the Templars a line about the apostate in the fucking sewers - or, I don’t know, just WAVES HIS ARMS A LITTLE when they’re in the goddamn Gallows - would indicate that while Fenris may hate mages with the burning passion of a thousand suns, he understands FUCKING LOYALTY.
