not just for clandestine meetings

I shouldn’t put off this nap, lest it screw up my sleeping schedule, but fuck that.

NOSTALGIA MONDAY: PSYCHONAUTS!

So like five years ago I joined a Psychonauts RP board and generally had a hell of a time before it eventually died. Raz was Raz, but Dogen had grown out of being “just like that, darling” into a reasonably normal if shy young man with a crush on his best friend. Charlie was Dogen’s friend and then his beard before they actually started dating for real. Guin was an instructor who hated her job almost as much as her precognition until she became a counselor, and proved herself the worst government agent ever by falling in love with a terrorist. Wick was a long-suffering Senior Agent and partical manipulation specialist who could drink you under the table and would kick your ass if you made fun of her name. Jean-Paul was ridiculously French and hated everyone, except, oddly enough, Dogen (and then he switched sides and actually got along rather well with everyone, what the fuck). Wade, Duncan, and Elsea were part of the less crazy terrorists, and Spinoza and Tuesday were part of the significanly more crazy terrorists. And then there’s a older!Lili and Quentin because I draw a lot.

I got pretty friendly with the dude that played Dogen, Wade, and Duncan (and Spinoza?). I wonder whatever happened to that asshole.

(Oh and the dude JP is yelling at in the one picture would be Noz. I didn’t bother mentioning him because a: their little flirtation ended very badly, and b: a circus brat wearing goggles, with a famous historical name with one letter turned to z? Nothing unoriginal about THAT. I thought that five years ago, and now I think it even more.)
